Toyota Cars were to be featured in Spyro games circa 2001

Toyota vehicles will be included in Universal's interactive games such as Spyro the Dragon.

I do not think this was going to be serious, probably just a small example of what Universal's tie-in with Toyota would've done.

I found this searching for info on Spyro at Universal Studios Hollywood. There is barely any evidence of the character existing there other than a few old photos. I've just been visiting the park as of recent. Going tomorrow! moneybags

Wow, good thing that didn't actually happen. hmm I can't see how that would have even worked unless they planned on slapping Toyota logos on the tanks or something.

Seriously, putting real world brands and logos in stuff just ruins the immersion unless it's actually supposed to be a world like ours. This idea just made no sense and probably would have made me dislike Toyota.

What about Gibson?

Gibson is an American musical instrument company that only makes guitars.

The only part of Gibson that might be on a Spyro game is that there might be a cutscene that features Spyro playing guitar or something.

Just came back from the park.

The closest thing to Spyro I found there was one of the hidden levels within the disc of Spyro A Hero's Tail is being built there. Yes you guessed right, Hogwarts. lol
