to keep it short i didn't really like this one honestly, i mean, i've liked literally every episode i've seen before this one so i'm not just criticizing it for no reason but i didn't like this one. a lot of people (especially Maud) felt out of character, and more impatient/cynical/inconsiderate than they normally are. it's the kind of thing people complain about with Merriwether Williams episodes, but it wasn't written by her.

Yeah, i know Maud don't portray herself emotionally, she just sticks to her own world. But she doesn't seem like a pony who would ashame someone else... i'd just assume she wouldn't care in general. Like at what was going on. But that hippie pony was sorta ok i guess ^^

I enjoyed it. It was interesting. But I'm glad Discord learned he and Fluttershy are friends no matter what.

I enjoyed the episode, it's nice to see a Pinkie and Dash pairing for once and I also loved seeing a new location, that being Griffonstone. I also knew Gilda was going to show up again, but to be honest I'm glad she did because after I watched this episode, I now find myself liking her now and enjoying her as a character, I definitely hope she appears later this season or next. I also love how Twilight gave Rainbow and Pinkie a guidebook to Griffonstone, I myself would have done that too if I was her lol. A good episode in my opinion 9/10!

Pinkie and Gummy were hilarious in this episode. Pinkie broke the fourth wall again, though i can't remember the scene very well now. it was cool to see a new place. it was cool to see Gilda again, even though i've always sort of been indifferent to her. it's cool to see an old character again anyway. and i don't mind adventure episodes.

but while all the ingredients were there, it just didn't really add up to an overall "good episode" for me, the episode's just sort of "there", i think.

edit: and i agree with you about the moral, Steinar.

hoping i like next week's better. i really don't like saying this kind of stuff about MLP episodes. hmm but the past 2 just didn't grab me.

EDIT: i still think most of season 5 has been great so far though!

Good episode. Liked seeing Gilda become friends with Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie. And also Griffinstone will be more friendlier. Though hopefully it does get rebuilt. It was good to see Gilda again, and hope she appears again.

Just a heads up fellow Bronies and Pegasisters. There won't be a new episode again till, June 13 so the MLP staff are getting a well deserved three week break to, recharge their batteries. I think they've earned it. Looking forward to it think it might be the 100th background character episode that's been rumoured. We shall see. But till then we get a three week hiatus.

i watched Equestria Girls a couple days ago, what do you guys think of this movie? i actually liked it. it was a fun movie. a few moments were admittedly pretty cringe-worthy but i don't think this movie was nearly as bad as people make it out to be.

i'd like to watch Rainbow Rocks sometime soon too, i haven't seen it yet but i've seen tons of spoilers already.

I do think it was a good movie as far as high school movies go. I am interested in seeing the next couple, but I didn't love it or anything.

i've seen a few of his videos in the past. most of those were pretty goofy reviews, though. (usually quite funny actually!) the one you posted obviously has a more serious tone to it and it seems like he handled it well.
