Skylanders to get TV show

apparently Activision is going to create a Skylanders TV show called Skylanders Academy. not sure which characters are going to appear on the show. From what I've read, sounds like its aimed at the little kids set.

Spyro will be voiced by Justin Long, Stealth Elf will be voiced by Ashley Tisdale, Norm McDonald as Glumshanks, and Jonathan Banks as Eruptor.

We've got a lot of new details on Skylanders Academy from Head TV Writer, Eric Rogers on his Twitter page. Recently he's been gagged by Activision to keep quiet since he revealed too much on the show.

• The tv series is new and separate from the games with original stories, but is canon.

• Kaos will be the main antagonist, along with the Doom Raiders.

• There are 13 episodes written for Season 1

• Network/Program has yet to be chosen, but when finalized, a teaser for Skylanders Academy will likely follow

• Season 1 script is done

• The show will air in Fall 2016

• Story elements will be a mixture between Gravity Falls and Futurama with emotional moments

• Each episode will be half hour

• CGI animation will be Pixar-like

• Spyro will be the star of the show, voiced by Justin Long

• Cynder is set to appear in Season 2, with a planned story revolving around her

• No word on Sparx the Dragonfly being in the show as of yet

I just watched SA, and it was pretty good, the jokes were funny, and as someone who practically worships the original, classic Spyro trilogy, I thought the characters were likable, including Spyro.

I heard Crash Bandicoot talks in it. Crash should never say anything but unintelligible noises like AHA and WOAH

I kinda liked the voice they choose for him (never played Crash but it sounds fun). I thought his voice matched the character perfectly...

I really like the show so far. Made spyro an interesting character ( was too Obvious Hero in Legend of spyro) and  added more girl characters than prior spyro series - cynder was the only major girl character in Legend, and ember only appeared briefly in A Heros Tail
