Frustrated =\ (Ripto's Rage Help)

OK, basically I've finished most of RR. Got 10000 gems, completed all homeworlds and speedways.
I've got 61 orbs- which means: only 3 missing!!!
But those 3 orbs are (to me, at least) impossible to get:
1. Turtle Soup II (Sunny Beach)- blah. I've completed the first one quite easily, but the second challenge is just HARD.
2. Crystal Geysers II (Magma Cone)- The first challenge wasn't easy, but the second one... AHH!! I always get to 14 crystals, but Hunter snatches the last one a second before me.
3. Lava Lizards II (Badlands)- I don't know why, but I can't seem to do this right. I heard it was quite easy for a 5 star challenge, but it's just too difficult for me.

Can anyone help me? Maybe a strategy or something?

Ok for the turtle soup, stay close to the pot of soup, and change the tutles when they get close. I can't really help with the others, it just takes practicing over again. I know the lava lizard one has a order you're supposed to go in, but I don't remember it, sorry.

But you also have to push the turtles off the cliff, so you can't always stay near the pot.

The charging in circles idea sounds good, but I can't do it. When I charge and try to move around in a circle, Spyro's moving in a huge circle and sometimes crashing into the walls... Is there a cheat that can help with this? LOL... THE GAME IS 98% COMPLETE!! sad

You're really having that much trouble? Just hit them as you see them. You should have plenty of time. Don't focus on getting them into the water, just get them away from the soup. So, don't aim for where you ram them - just get them away, and they'll eventually get out.

For the lava lizards there IS a pattern. I don't know it, but you can probably find it on a walkthrough.

I've just finished Lava Lizards II and Crystals II (I have no idea HOW I did it, but YAY!).
Turtle Soup II is just annoying. I've tried everyones tips, but nothing seems to help... It's supposed to be easy!! I mean, it's in Sunny Beach...

FINISHED!!!!!!!!!!! I finally managed to take it easy and complete Turtle Soup II... Permanent Fireball is cool.

Ripto's Rage is the second Spyro the Dragon game. Known as Gateway to Glimmer is Europe and Australia and Tondemo Tours in Japan.

For turtle soup, Spyro's flame and charge attacks affect the turtle differently. Flame them to make the turtles walk away from the pot for a moment. Charge then to make them slide around. If they bump into another turtle, that turtle will also start to slide. Focus on delaying the turtles close to the pot before charging the others. Better hope you have good reflexes.

Edit: Oh, he's already done. Well, superflame works like charging as well. still, this is a good tip for anyone who needs it.

Sorry for the NecroPosting but I've recently restarted Ripto's Rage because it's been literally years since I last played any Spyro and while I've never managed to defeat Ripto himself, wanted to refresh my memory on the playthrough.

I also had trouble with most of these challenges and wanted to offer my strategies.

Turtle Soup II
Meet the first one approaching from the top right at no more than halfway to the pot and charge it into the water. Then flame the second one coming from the bottom left to the right of the pot and charge it into the water, same with the third. Keep taking them on one at a time this way.

It's still not easy, it takes precision and speed but with the right timing and decent aim with your charge this is a successful strategy, It took me several goes at it, but I did finally manage to complete it this way.
NOTE: Several of my failed attempts would have been eliminated had I know what I was doing from the start but I had to figure this out through trial and error.

Lava Lizards II and Crystal Grab II are two more that gave me trouble as well.
