How do you Spyro?
There's so many ways to play these old games these days. Maybe you play them on your ps3. Maybe your ps2 or even original PlayStation is still kicking. HD tv or still rockin' the tube tv just like back in the day? Or maybe you just emulate. I'm curious to hear how everyone chooses to enjoy our favorite dragon. As for myself, my current only option is my ps3 on my LCD but I really don't like the way it looks. Too pixelated for my taste.

Emulator for PS1 games I use ePSXe, for PS2 games I use pcsx 2. Currently playing ANB, though I still didnt figure out how to fix the UI glitches.

As far as i remember you can switch to software mode with f9 which fixes these visual bugs but it will slow the game down.

PS3. I prefer them on the PS1 though - the music always skips and lags in the PS3 version for some reason. My bro Paranoia has our disks from when we were kids.

Ya I play them off the original discs. The PSN versions suck. The music skipping and framerate drops ruin my enjoyment.

Re: How do you Spyro?
I mostly play the PS1 games on my PSP. Haven't had any issues with music lag and skips on it.

We even have duplicates and I somehow have all of the copies too... Remind me to give some back when you I see you this week!
I have the Collector's Edition for Spyro 1-3, and I'll usually boot them off the CD and play on my PC running epsxe emulator. I don't have any of the other games currently, but I have wanted to go back and play Hero's Tail again

Re: How do you Spyro?
Same as paranoia, I have the physical discs and i use epsxe to emulate ps1 games. i could play it on my real ps2, but i can get some nice stuff out of emulating and it's more convenient. i also have an adapter that lets me use my ps2 controller; i got it for $3 on ebay. i only bother with the ps1 games.
I'm not sorry if I offended you.

Re: How do you Spyro?
Yeah this has changed over the years. I used to play games with old school tv for quite long and only like 2-3 years ago got hd tv. Now if I play Spyro games I play on PS3 with the games bought from PS store, mainly because I don't have Spyro 1 on disc and my Spyro 2 disc version doesn't play sounds anymore. Spyro 3 disc still work fine though. Also PS1 is still working so I could play Spyro 3 with it
ps. I have a week off from school coming in few weeks and I thought to play at least Spyro 2 and 3 then it's been a while since I've played those...
