Spyro AHT LP! PG 13+

I wasn't sure exactly where to post this, but I read the rules stating that Youtube link advertising was allowed - but If it's not Stormy/Paranoia feel free to delete smile

I decided to get my foot back into Spyro by playing one of the more graphically advanced games, AHT. I personally really like this game but I know others don't, So I think we could have some awesome discussion about it smile

I also include a facecam for when the game decides just to f* me over. lol which is a lot lol

Nice videos smile Not so nice forum feature/bug that deletes my message when trying to send it while being idle for a moment being automatically logged off, requiring to type out the whole message again *deep breath* yeaaaah.. (don't worry, it's not your fault, I'm just ranting out a bit x)

This is one of the few games I didn't play yet. More preciselly, I played it only at my firend a few years ago for a couple minutes. I like how they keep some of the similarities to the original games, still there are some things I think could be done differently. Like moneybags, looks totaly differend to me, not only in his look. There are some similarities to enter the dragonfly - more childness and overall smoothness, which ofc migh be better for the younger audience, but I prefer the older style. Also, if I noticed right, you seem to complain about something about Bentley I think? I kinda wonder what did they do to him x) seeing in the videos the other characters changed significantly too. Overally the game looks good, and I like how you can play as Ember there too ember Too bad the dialogs are fixed to the Spyro model.

This game in my opinion is a huge step up from the mess that EOD made, even though its technically less faithful to the original series. The Moneybags thing is one thing that absolutely annoys me, but trying to collect gems in this game would be an absolute nightmare - so I can understand where the currency idea came from - design wise tho, moneybags looks and sounds so weird haha.

They dumbed down Bently and made him a typical "beat and smash ask questions later" Character. Completely undermined the entire concept of his character, I hate it sad

And Yasss playing as ember is my fave thing, coulda been done better but not bad for an unlockable!

I took a look on wiki what characters are there from previous games and didn't see Sheila, she was one of my favourites from the original games, but hearing what they did to Bentley, I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing she wasn't included x)
What I noticed is that the levels are all connected, which looks cool yikes and I didn't see any loading screen, which is huge step forward from ETD which had like eternal loading screens tongue

At the part with spiders, when you respawned after they killed you and were looking around, I knew you were about to say something like "Where the *bleep* am I?"

Sheila was one of my faves too! especially being aussie, it felt good to have some representation - even if it is a biog exaggerated of course wink But yeah, if she was included it would have been a mess honestly! It's disappointing that she wasn't even included in shadow legacy, because so many other characters were brought back for that game too sad

There are loading screens for certain areas, changing hub worlds, entering mini games etc, but they are SO minimal in comparison to ETD! Anything is minimal in comparison that that game though... lol.

Nxt two parts are up too smile Thanks for your support! Means a lot, and I'm glad you're getting to experience this game - despite all my complaining, it's not /that/ bad!

A Heros Tail could have been the start of its ownb trilogy. should have been imo. I'm surprised that they didnt port Ember into the legend series as they did Hunter.

Yes, the game looks good smile and I see James didn't change so much, which is good. And I see you were having trouble with that Sparx minigame sparx it's sure not thought well that you can't see past him x) but at least it's a bit more challenging, surprisingly more challenging than the boss battle, lol gnasty I remember the one time playing at my friend, there was the James minigame, and I didn't like him having the jetpack thing, I was like "Hey, flying with those tiny penguin wings was funny!", but his movement sure was a bit slow sometimes too. But now that I see James flying in the speedways, does Spyro also does them later?
