*Not all of them are blocked though. Some already pierced his body by the time the barrier went up. Ten of the shards pierce Blaze's body, two of which pierce his heart, one piercing his neck. His eyes widen, and then he grows still, the light starts leaving his eyes*

Blaze: No...

*He grows silent*

OOC: Here's a plot twist

IC:

I: *suddenly feels him return to normal, then feels a familiar sensation...two minds in his head, he then collapses as the run completely wore him out, his mind was still blocked off from outside forces...but this second mind seemed to be internal and it's keeping him severed from his friends' abilities to find him with their minds*

Voice: *faint* "It's been a while..."

I: *T*"Who are you?"

Voice: "Don't you recognize your own father?"

I: *after hearing this, he immediately tries to fight him off, but he was more powerful than last time...he's obviously feeding his strength off of Inferno's transformations* "I won't let you take control."

DM: "Who said I want to take control of you? You'll come to ME in time...sooner than you think even." *a shadow appears next to him with a dagger and a vial* "Now my minion will take some of your blood...and you'll see the rest personally." *the shadow stabs Inferno and collects his blood, he then knocks Inferno out, the last thing he could feel was the sensation of being sucked down a drain (teleport)*

S: *feels something in his mind, like an old link reborn...he knows exactly what it could mean* "Uh...guys...I have a really bad feeling right now."

I: *awakens and notices he's inside of Malefor, he feels dizzy from the loss of blood* "Wha-what happened?"

DM: "You're awake son...just in time to see the darkest hour."

I: *tries to stand but fails, he is chained to the floor* "I won't let you do this."

DM: "You have no choice." *he orders a shadow to prepare a dark crystal and place it in the middle of the purple beam*

I: "You can't do this."

DM: "I can...and I will." *orders the shadow to pour the vial of Inferno's blood onto the crystal, a horrid evil light erupts from Malefor and a strong shockwave of evil can be felt by EVERY living thing, animals begin to look spooked, everything in there*

I: "We failed...I failed...Blaze is dead over my mistake...and now we are too."

OOC: I bet you can figure out what happened

*She walks over to Blaze and takes his pulse*

*Feels the DM's presence*

Frost: No! The DM, he's back...

The rain had finally caled down enough for Illadin to see his destation, a dark looming structure far off in the distance. The place where hope came to die, the one time home of Cynder. The place where ignits was drained and Spyro had learned about Cynder's origions, the same place where Illadin was going to complete a job that he should have done 10 years agao. He had known about the places contents for about the same amount of time but he had never had a enough chance to collect the item in question.

As Illadin walked through the long forgotten double doors he shook off as much water as e could from his soaked form. He looked about at the competly black interor of the one time castle. He would have been lost if he diddn't have something that had made his life much easyer, 10 years agaon Illadin swollowed an orb that gave him the ability to see in the dark without any light, this had saved his scaly hide more than once, havving the ability to see without givving away your posision...

"This place is a mess," said Illadin looking about at the scattered weapons of war that littered the ground, the place had everything, swords, sheilds, axes, maces, bows, arrows, armor of all sorts and Illadin thought he saw a catapult in the distance.
Moving carefully through the remnents of the old occupants of the stronghold Illadin began up a set of stairs [he diddn't trust the old elevators] he eventally got to a landing deserted of all sings of life, forgotten or otherwise. "Cynder's room...," Illadin thought to himself, opening a rather small wodden door. When he did, he instantly found what he was looking for, a dark black orb, blending in perfectly with it's surroundings. Illadin dashed over to it and picked it up. It was warm to the touch and seemed to vibrate with contained and frocis power.

"Finally, at long last, anoth paice to the puzzle!" said Illadin holding the orb high in the air, like a banner of victory. He opend his mouth and swollowed the orb with vigor. Almos instantly, he felt his sences bacome numbed, like someone had put him in a sack, then the feeling dissapeared. When it did he felt reborn, as if all his wrong dooing were forgotten and he was free to star again and make true on his promise he had made to someone he had not seen in ten years.

"Illadin!" a voice spoke behind him. Wheeling about Illadin saw a black flame in a large fireplace, large enough for him to cral into. In the flame was a dragon, a purple dragon, the DM.
"What is it!?!" asked Illadin sharply
"I have good news for us!"
"What? Did you finally catch the others?"
"No, better! Just come home and I'll show you!"
At this, Illadin lept forward into the fire and felt himself being sucked down a tube like thing and ound himself "home" in the DM stronghold.

I: *lets his body go limp as he is defeated* "Go ahead and kill me...I know you wish to."

DM: *has returned, and he begins to hatch a plan with Inferno and talks soothingly towards him to try and get him on his side* "Who said I'm going to kill you son. Your "friends" will not forgive you for allowing Blaze to die, but I will.

I: *it appears to be working as Inferno is cheering up*

DM: *puts a paw on Inferno's shoulder, allowing dark energy to flow into him as he continues to sooth him* "You will have your time to get back at your new enemies." *the dark energy begins to corrupt Inferno, and it also makes him turn into an adult dragon like Dark Cynder, except he's male. He does look battlescarred now and he appears starved (an eerie resemblence to Dark Inferno), and his scales are a dark purple, near black, his stripes and other parts are darker as well*

I(Corrupt): "Father...you've provided salvation from my sadness, and they have not...I'll make sure they wish they did."

DM: "Now where is my minion, Kevin..." *teleports him to himself, if there was some kind of magic block it didn't work*

Kevin: *bows* "Master."

DM: "Meet my oldest son. You know what to do."

K: "Yes, my lord." *goes off to do what he knows to do*

DM: "Now, go sooth your thirst for revenge."

I(Corrupt): "With pleasure." *flies back towards the area the crew is*

*Back in his dimension*

Kagai Kaen: I may have been beaten now, but I won't stop until their powers are mine!

*He heals the poison, and the wounds that he received*

Kagai Kaen: At least I still have Frost's powers.

*Senses the DM's presence even from his own dimension*

Kagai Kaen: What power! It's so malevolent, more than my own! I know now, what I must do.

*He teleports back to the group. Frost notices him and gets into a defensive stance*

Kagai Kaen: I have not come to fight you, or to take your powers. I am here to return Frost's powers, and I am here to help you fight against that malevolent force I could feel even in my own dimension.

Frost: Why should we trust you? Blaze is dead because of you!

Kagai Kaen: He's not dead. Not yet. You can still save him, that's why I'm returning your powers to you.

Kagai Kaen: I'm so tired of being evil, I just want to do something to help everyone.

*Closes his eyes and forms his hands together. He then transfers Frost's powers over to her*

Kagai Kaen: You'd better hurry Frost. He hasn't got much time left. You'll have to get his pulse back.

Frost: You're right. Also, you're well on your way to redeeming yourself Kagai.

*She moves over to Blaze and goes into the third transformation. She channels the electricity from the aura to her hands*

Frost: Come on Blaze. Please, you have to live. We can't stop the DM without you.

*She starts trying to bring his heartbeat back*

Vyper: well what do you know....well Kagai seems we were wrong about you even when you were trying to destroy us

Kagai Kaen: I can see you're all tired from your fight with me. I will restore your energy. You'll need it to stop the DM.

*He focuses his thoughts and energy on giving his remaining energy to the group. All of a sudden, Kagai's body starts to change. He changes from an all black dragon, to a white and black dragon, with blue eyes. A black shadow exits from his body*

Kagai Kaen: I am no longer Kagai Kaen. From now on, I am Shiro Kaen. I make my own destiny, no longer controlled by the forces of darkness. I apologize for my actions against you. My body was not my own, I was being possessed, I assume, by the DM.

Wedger: Yes...it happens the Dm controls alot of dragons lately i mean look at vyper he was controlled by the Dm too and he almost destroyed the entire universe if i hadnt stopped him

Vyper: Please...lets not bring this story up wedger

Wedger: Alright fine *notices a kiss mark* vyper...i didnt recognize that kiss mark before....what happened?

Vyper: Um you know faline and I kissed and all became dragon mates

Wedger: I see...well this is certianly awkward at a time like this

Frost: No Shiro, it would not be your fault. You wouldn't deserve execution if your actions aren't your own. Know this however, you are with friends.
