Spyro the Dragon Wiki

If you're looking here it's obvious you've either played a Spyro game, own one or are a fan (duh, you're at these awesome Spyro fan forums, of course you love the little, purple hero!). Even if it's none of the above you can still help. Spyro now has his own wiki and we need your to help fill the articles. There are character pages, game pages, item pages and more. If you love Spyro or at least have some time on your hands all it takes is a contribution or two. We need all the help we can get so yours is much appreciated.

Spread the word, too. Put the link in your sigs, tell your friends at other sites, do what you can to get the news out: Spyro's wiki is up and running!

Below is the address of our Spyro the Dragon wiki. We're the first one there was and hopefully can become the best.

Any feedback on the site is appreciated as well, let's get a discussion going about it.

If you're a member here, not a guest, your account for these forums works at the wiki, no re-signing up or anything. If you're a guest - when you sign up at the wiki, it takes you back to these forums. However, the account at the forum is usable on the wiki so it isn't an error and now you've signed up for both at the same time!

Nice!

I contributed just a little bit. I was about to add the music artists for Spyro: A Hero's Tail, but the instruction manual I was looking at confused me. So I only ended up modifying the order of music artist names in the wiki. Just changed them to alphabetical order by last name (originally was ordered by first name, which isn't correct by convention). I know that sounds a bit anal, but hey, you want the wiki to be as professional as possible, right?

i contributed tonnes... to gnasty gnorc, TLOS:ANB, made the topic "dragonfly", made the topic "boss" and "buttons". Merged the cynder topics. Organised topics better.

I would contribute but I am planning to update my own wiki on the Spyro: Legacy of Ages film. Plus, I have to get the blasted website up and running. It is way, way overdue for launch and it will launch.

I made Sheila, made a link from Cynder to Cynder (Dragon), in Boss I made Buzz and I made Spike (seprate from boss)

Edit: In "Buttons" I did Spyro 2 and a bit of spyro 3 [a bit is Spyro (not much because i did NOT want to write all that all over again), Sparx and Sheila]

I think we should have longer explenations on the individuals, and maybe some pics' on the major characters. Like Sheila and Bentley. It would be a smashing update.

For people who don't know much about a specific game having pictures and more information would've been a huge advantage.

Same here. SpyroWorld is the only Spyro Wiki there should be. I don't think there are any other Heroes Wikis apart from HeroesWiki.com, which is awesome smile

Having more than 1 wiki makes it less centralized, thus each contains less information because we have split the fanbase into 2. If we stick to one wiki, we all help contribute and we will have more information.
