What would you like to see in a new Spyro game?

I am asking this question so I can get a rough idea of what you guys are interested in seeing in a PC Spyro game. Please tell me. You can even put ideas down if you want. This question is in regards to the planned Spyro: Legacy of Ages film game sequel/spinoff Heroes, Episode 1 - Legend of the Phantom Gate.

i have a server that can be used for online gameing, but online gameing is REALLLLLLY hard to do.

I am currently saving money up to buy a terabyte server. The server would be able to host websites, game boards and various other things. The one thing I would love to do is to make the Spyro game trilogy downloadable which meant that people could just download the game and set it up on their pcs to play.

I am also going to see if there might be away to make a PS1 or PS2 port version for the game. That is going to take a lot of work but I'll see what I can do. Other console ports of the game are also being considered but first things first I have to get the blasted demo done first... he he he. Anyway, I like the ideas I am hearing so far. The storyline of the game is going to be very deep. I am trying to use all the worlds from the original trilogy in this game. That is going to be quite an undertaking considering the film. But I am going to go for it and see what is going to happen.

So far about $1500 but I am still searching to see if I can find one at a lower price. I would love to purchase the $2000 model which can hold about 10 to 15 hard drives. This server would be the AMS Inc server for my planned online tv network and the merchadise that would be generated from the various animation and live-action film projects I am currently developing besides Spyro. At the moment, you will be happy to hear that a online Spyro animated series is also being considered down the road. The film has to be finished first but the other plans for Spyro are being developed. In fact the second game in the new game trilogy now has a title. The game will be called Spyro: Leacy of Ages: Heroes: Episode 2 - Shadows of the Phantom Realm.

Hi Spyrothedragon,

In regards to your comments.... oh yes. Spyro is going to be some Kung-Fu style fighting against the Phantom Guard Dragons. The best thing about the games that I have planned is that unlike the original games you will be able to save your game data once you finish playing each episode and that data will be carried over to the next game in the trilogy.

By doing this game save feature new features that will be hidden in the game will be unlocked. One feature that I think you guys are really going to like is the ability to play with three totally brand new characters. The new characters , once they are unlocked will slightly alter the the storyline of the game play. Also, special battle event may also occur. The other plus of this new game save feature is that the abilities that Spyro and everyone else gain in one episode of the trilogy will be carried over to the next episode. So that means if Spyro's new Flame Talon or Wing Blade abilities are at let's say level 3 by the end of Episode One... then when you save and start the Episode Two he will still have those abilities at level 3 to level up further. No more re-learning abilities again routine which was a truly annoying issue when it came to the older games.

Also there is the fact that Hunter will have real cheetah speed in the game allowing him to do some really kick *bleep* moves. Plus the old bow he had will be replaced by one that is more up to date that will make use out of his new much faster moves and speed. I also plan to have some team battle combinations. Let's say for example Spyro breaths a fireball at an enemy at the same time that Hunter fires an arrow behind the fireball ... What do you think will happen? Arrow + Fireball = Fireball Arrow. There are other things I would like to do as well but I will have to take my time to think about doing them. I hope I gave you a satisfactory answer to your question/comment Take care.

hey, im new here but ive been hooked on spyro for a good portion of my life. im about to be 15 and i've always loved the first three games.. i love the depth of the latest games story line but the gameplay for me was definately disappointing. i'd like to see somthing similiar to the old games.. :-P

If you could make an online Spyro game with design your own dragon that would be awsome. I'd download the progragm even if it took 3 days. Please say that you are going to pull threw with this! I'd save up all the money i could to buy the program unless it is free download. You must make this game...or i will find a nice dark corner to cry in untill time ends. But online mode would be awsome.

New elements for Spyro wind light ect be able to team up with Hunter and all of his friends and stilll keep the Fire fury Ice Fury ect.
