For my the best is TLOS Titles. The story is cool,the graphic is cool.It is only a shame that there are only 3 games

Tlos- Story is nice, graphics are avarage, gameplay is awful, music is avarage... I just wish the TLOS series could work on its gameplay.... but most importantly i just like the old spyro, story and all, so i think we should bring im back.

sorry to double post but i think more people should post in here, yep, its obvious most people on this form prefer TLOS, High five spyrofirl101, were the only ones who like the originals ^_^

I really loved the Insomniac ones. They'll always be my favorite Spyro games. But I like the TLOS ones as well ^^

Umm there's only 2 atm.

But anyhow yeah they do have good graphics, but it's a little unfair at times *cough* Getting pwnt by riders when you cna't move *cough*

Well they have mediocre graphics, better than the originals (well deh)
And Krome have stated it will be a trilogy
I think the whole reason more TLOS lovers are here because they are the ones who like to chat about the new games comming up, so in other words, you will be here, us insomniac lovers have lost hope in the series and dont want to talk about TLOS, so in other words we wont be here.
But i still have hope in Spyro, just TLOS doesn't give it to me

What's mediocre in your vocabulary is different from what it means in mine. I honestly think that the graphics from the TLoS series are stunningly great. Besides, even if you don't like the gameplay or anything, doesn't mean you should bash it and say it's bad in general. It's your own opinion and you should let others form their own opinion of the game.

i never said TLOS was bad (maybe when i was really angry with it i did) but i just prefer the originals.
Mediocre means good, but i didn't find them stunning
But seriously, i never like games justfor their plot, if you like plots, go watch a movie

Well, in my honest opinion, I like TLoS the most. Now don't get me wrong, I like the old ones, but sloving puzzles and collecting stuff really gets boring to me after a while. TLoS, however, keeps me entertained, besides, the music in TLoS is WAYYYYYYYYYY better then the music in the original, so is the stroy, and the fun level........

I would say TLOS for me too. IT is the first actual insane-fighting (meaning as in countless amount of apes!) game seires I have played. And I enjoy it.
The music, absolutely stunning. Composed by an orchestra makes me have a real connection to the series.

Most people that buy TLoS today haven't played or haven't even heard about the original series. A friend of mine (who plays TLoS) came on a visit once I was playing Spyro 2. And he went like. "WTF... what game iz that?". I've gotten him henched up on the original Spyro games now. But I still can't convince them that they are better then TLoS.

I can just say. If you play the original Spyro, Ratchet and Clank and Kingdom Hearts, Spyro will lack things: Original gameplay, many collactables, humor, story plot and FUN!
TLoS games just get to predictable if you've played those three games.

Well, I respect your opinion about new spyro, but I have to disagree on what you said. I played all those games you listed and many more ( DMC 1 and 3, GoW,) and I found TLoS very fun. Of course, I have always liked action games, but I still found TLoS games IMO more fun the the oringinal.

Thats just by your taste of games isn't it? Cuz I mostly like adventure and hack'n slash games (and some regular RPGs/Strategy).
Spyro ment very much to me in my childhood, so I feel kinda connected to him. I lost the connection and started on the Ratchet & Clank games. This month I've re astablished my connection, but the more I look back the more I hate the LoS series. It's like. When I first got the game I was like: "Ok...", but I hadn't played Spyro for ages. And now that I've played the first, second and third all over agian, my mood against LoS is more like: "<.< it's getting extremely dusty... But I'll never touch it! DEVIL GAME! *burns* "

No offence people, but new Spyro IS NOT THE SAME SPYRO AS THE ORIGINAL.

IMO it seems like Spyro in LoS is a completely 'nother person. Both personality, looks and gameplay has been removed. And they shut out the old games so that they never happened. And If they ever happened it would have to be with some other Purple dragon living long before the LoS Spyro.

Spyro is not Spyro, and Spyro is Spyro. That's just the way it is.

Well, I have to agree with you on that sleva10, the two spyro's have little to nothing in common. But for me, I felt the change was better. I don't know why, since the original was one of the first games I played that I enjoyed, so spyro had a very big impact on me video game wise. Maybe because when I was young, I had lots of trouble finding and working for stuff, and I got bored and angry at times when I played the original. Then when I started playing action games, I felt far less bored and angry because I don't have to look for something or solve some puzzle. But, let me skip the rant and just say that the two spyros are compleatly different , and they are both spyro, yet there not the same.

Ya, I know, I mean, original Spyro is WAYYYYYYYYY more cocky then TLoS Spyro, and he looks more wired.... there not the same spyro at all. But I like TLoS Spyro more because he's less cocky and annoying then the original spyro.

And i LoS most dragons have been lost right. So LoS can happen 1000 years after "the legend of Spyro the dragon"

Spyro is named after one of the first purple dragons Spyro big_smile I just made a fan connection
