wow, this is a popular topic... so, um, the general feeling in this is Cynder. yeah, youre probably right. it would be cool if spyro told cynder he loved her when ember was listenen outside the door... ember creeps me a bit...

Thinking about that scares me. In fact, fans like that scare me alot. I think Spyro just thinks of Ember as a fangirl towards him.

Yeah.Anyways,Ember just looked like one of those characters in the game you just talk to for advice.Its like the director said"just make this character look the 6th best".

Personally, I don't really have anything against Spyro and Ember due to the fact that Ember's introduction was handled so badly in AHT. She was given a personality that made her unlikable to most of the fanbase. However, as far as I am concern there are 2 Spyros from two different eras and thus each Spyro choses the female dragoness that he knows/likes. Spyro and Cynder do have a closer relationship then Spyro and Ember but that is simply due to character development and the more mature storyline.

I am sure many of you have noticed that I have remade Ember over in my Dragon of Destiny story series. The original version of Ember is history too me at least and from this point on I am using the updated Ember for reference. She may not be the original official version but sure is hell of lot better then her original counterpart. Then again, my take on Ember is of a much older mature Ember who has gone through many emotional and physical changes as to be literally reborn as different individual. There are still some traces of her old personality but she is quite different now then she was then and it is this Ember who Spyro loves.

As for Spyro and Cynder... Those two got married and had twins children as far as I am concern. Their children appear as main characters in the series.

So there is my answer.

The 'Charizard' species of Dragon (not sure what the official species name from the whole of Dragonology is) is a favourite of mine. It was my favourite Dragon Transformation in Breath Of Fire 3 too! big_smile Although, to be truthful, my completely favourite BOF3 Dragon was Trygon. He was badass wink

I think that who ever Spyro chooses will be someone who every one least expects, but they-- all 3-- are too young to be thinking that way. Who is Ember?

Ember is a pink dragon that appear in Hero's Tail for one cutscene, she's basically madly in love with Spyro creating like a Sonic/Amy kind of thing. You know, Spyro doesn't notice it or choses to ignore it.

Yea, Spyro would probably choose Cynder over Ember, here's my reasons.

1: Ember's rather annoying (IMO) (And I can't wait to see Jamieque's version of her)

2: She's more of a fangirl like cynderfan said

3: Yes Spyro and Cynder do look cute together

4: Spyro shown no interest in Ember (SonicXAmy relation, like said earlier)

5: Cynder seems like she'd understand Spyro more, likewise for Spyro to Cynder.

And besides that black/purplyish red is far more attractive anyway

And there is an easier way to say purplish red, and I (think) it's crimson...or maroon (actually, maroon's a little too dark red to be Cynder's).

i don't know that much about cinder just yet but ember annoyed the hell out of me, plus i also hate pink and prefere black, so there we go. hey, black and purple are two of my fav colours, what a coincidence...
i wrote spyro stories when i was younger too! only in one of my stories the girl dragon was called crystal and in the rest of the stories she was called gem. i was thinking about this the other night & i thought mabe star, winter or tundra would be a nice name, and she would either be lilac, black, crystal blue or silver. if i can post pics i'll show you the pastle pic i did of spyro & this unnamed girl dragon. sparx had a g/f too! spyro's g/f's dragonfly. i'm gonna get sparx tatooed on my foot & the chinese symbol for dragon on my side. uhh, when i have the money and uhh, can face the fear of hearing the ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ of the drills as i walk past, uh hehe...

o_O i never said anything about fancying dragons. i was joking. sheesh. at the end of the day i dont think either will happen. spyro just doesn't seem the type to fancy anyone. if he was bogged down by a g/f, or mate as as a dragon may put it, how would he be able to go around having differemt adventures? also i think the slight immiture nature in him would prevent him from wanting to get involved with anyone.

I think the reason people hate Ember is because she embodies that stereotypical Damsel-In-Distress persona. I can see why Cynder would be the more likable GF of Spyro.
