Insomniac are the best if they made another spyro game it would be awesome Spyro 3 is the best game in the world!

Yeah.... I like Insomniac better. I think vu took over because they were not good. In spyro 2 and 3, look at zoe you can't see her bum! ok, sorry i said that. there also seems to be some goofs too in 2 & 3 too and everyones eye's in the game are not realy stick to the person!

Well I agree that Insomniac had made better games. After all, they did create the series.

not harmful ones but if u use an unharmful one like swim in air on breeze harbour if u get hit it crashes and u have to restart the game so u know

Especially Spyro Year of the Dragon. its the best ever! I hate all the games made by vivendi. the 4th Spyro was ok but i'd much better prefer the third one or the trilogy. right now i'm in evening lake and i'm in the middle of that Honey Comb or something speedway i just wanted to go online right now. I could never beat the 4th Spyro or the 5th Spyro. I used to have the 4th one but long story. and i have the 5th one for Gamecube. (i have a PS1 and a gamecube)

I had those 2, but then we got a PS2.

I love Insomniac because they made the best Spyro games ever! Especially Spyro Year of the Dragon. its the best ever!

I agree with you on that one. YoTD was a great game.

I really liked the different dragon worlds and dragon types of StD, you don't really see mention of them again, except for YotD where the hatchling dragons look like one of the 5 types (green=artisan, brown=peacekeeper, gray=beastmaker, blue=dreamweaver, aqua=magiccrafter)

I noticed that pattern, and I wish that the original company would have been able to do a prequel to be honest, that would have been a good way to go out with a bang, so to speak

Well, there was that backstory released in the japanese version of the game. But yeah, just one more Spyro game by Insomniac would have been real nice. Maybe revisiting the Dragon Realms? Going back to all the places we'd been before, but maybe something happened to them (sort of like what they wanted to do with AHT, but didn't really pull off). And all that with current gen graphics....::sigh::

Insomniac owns. The new Spyro games are just awful. I mean they brought Ripto back (he died), Moneybags is a swami, and even Gnasty Gnorc is back Gagh!

Basically, the dragons were hanging out in Stone Hill one day, and they see two blue thieves running along carrying two eggs. They scare the theives and take the eggs from them (the theives run away). One of the eggs (the dragon egg) isn't purple like it should be, its actually red-hot. All of a sudden, it hatches, and Spyro is born. And there is steam coming from the inside of his egg. The other egg also hatches, and Sparx is born. They name the dragon Spyro because of his ability to breath fire even before he was born. I assume they named Sparx for being shiny.

See? that's a perfectly good story to go off of, why coudln't they have just used that one? The Japanese seem to always get things that we overlook Mediawise, atleast in the regards to Games.

Aww, that sounds cute. Though it still could be possible. If you replace Sparx's egg in the first story with a cocoon, then it would work.

I agree, I love Spyro and all but the last 3 games have been nothing compared to the first 3 classics that Insomniac made!
