I remember getting stuck at Dry Canyon. Getting that one dragon that talked about frying the birds had me stuck for months. After I figured him out, I cartwheeled across the house, and even wrote about how happy I was about it in the back of the instruction booklet. Haha.

Haunted Towers had me down too, man, getting that last dragon. I felt like a genius after figuring out I had to speed across half the stage to get to it.

Lofty Castle was also a pretty tough stage. Getting all the gems was the biggest challenge with all the different ramps and s*it to bother with.

Tree Tops was similar. Only difference is that we had green and red guys in Chef Boyardee hats to chase after, hills, speedpads and bundles of other confusing crap. It took me a while to perfect this board but after I did it, I saw it as one of the easier levels in the game actually.

Tree Tops was difficult with the super-charge ramps.

Haunted Towers was difficult to find the last dragon.

But I think Haunted Towers was more difficult until I knew what I was doing then it was easy.

But Tree Tops was still hard even if I knew what to do.

Jaques, definitely. Darn those fools! I spent days trying to complete that level!

Also, Tree Tops was very difficult. When I finally got that last dragon, and Spyro said that thing about "finding an easier spot to get stuck", I totally agreed with him.

Tree Tops. I'm actually Re-Playing Spyro game, it brings alot of memories, I love that game so bad!

Well the Tree Tops obviously I couldn't get to that darn dragon, it took me alooooong time to figure it out specially because when I first played Spyro I wasn't very good with the Super-Charge, but after I got the hang of it, it became easier. I also remember having lots of trouble with Haunted Towers.

I really didn't have that much trouble finding everything. I seem to have a knac for finding hidden items. I was just seeing how long I could stay in supercharge when I got the dragonn there for the first time. big_smile I didn't even know I was supposed to go over there! Then I always had to help my friend on it who would constantly get stuck in Tree Tops! Oh good times, good times. smile

It all depend's on what you mean by "Hardest level".....
I think Tree Tops, Hunted Towers and Misty bog....

Tree Tops Because you can see that last platform with the dragon on it but no clue how to get it. (I fluked it as a kid the first time.)

Hunted Towers Because of pretty much the same reason, You can see through that square hole in the roof but i did not know how to get it, (This was the one dragon and treasures i could not get at all as a kid and only got it once i came back to it when i was older.)

Misty Bog Because of the actual difficulty of the level itself, Everythings easy to find but how all the enemy's are possitioned it can he hard.

I would say tree tops is the hardest level to me...I have played this game several times and I still not gotten all the way though it yet, and it mostly due to that level and me having trouble finding the last dragon...sooo annoying I can see the thing and hear but trying to figure out how use the ramps and flying over there I just can't get...no matter how long I try to work it..GRRRR so annoying.

Yeah, it's definitly Misty Bog. When dodging the attack frogs' attack, the boars can be very dangerous, which are enemies it's easy to kill at start, but if I wait, I will undoubtly regret it.

tree tops is a horrible... HORRIBLE level

and when i first played it when i was little
(the only perosn to have it in my class... holy *bleep*, i remember reading the preview in playstation magazine... it was awesome

anyways

when i was little i used to hate them yellow rams in one of the first levels.... something hill, to tired to think

they still scare me now

so ill say thats my worst level, despite the fact its *bleep* easy tongue

i say Tree Tops because of all the hard jumps and glides you have to do. o_o
plus, you have to do the hard jumps and stuff while the Super Charge is activated. xD

i say Misty Bog because of the frogs. xD

Yeah I agree. Those dragon-eating plants scared the heck outta me. I used to deliberately avoid that level just because of the plant enemies.

Tree Tops...I hate that jump you do to get to the last statue...but another is that harbor level with the Gnorc Commandoes (guys with Machine Guns), I hate those guns!!!

i think the hardest level was haunted towers it took fore oever i rember thats why i quit playing it for a month cause i almost broke the controler from getting frustrated from diein an spookie hollow always that one jem i miss*always!* i love the flying especally doing the tricks when i got done wit them
