Ah-ha Spyro, the R-1000 and T-Rex 1000's have escaped from their inescapable cages and are running amok through the jungle. Please stop them before they destroy the rest of the science labs and all of research!

There, now all you have to do is pass through this gateway and you will be able to walk onto the lava without being hurt. However Spyro, the invulnerability you have to the lava won't last very long, but you can come back and recharge if necessary.

Use the left analog stick to steer the Spitfire. Press \\X button to fire missiles. Press \\O button to fire your machine guns. Press \\D button to make the Spitfire fly faster. Press L2 and R2 to make the Spitfire bank left and right.

Use your headsmash move to activate the green buttons. Use your lightning breath to activate all the electrical poles. When everything is activated, the center platform will drop down and you can reach the Riptoc!

Butterflies are the key to my healthy golden glow. Each time I eat a butterfly, I gain one health point. When I'm gone, butterflies will also bring me back! Flame or charge fodder to get butterflies.
So where exactly do I find these butterflies, Sparx?
You don't remember? Sheesh! I thought I had a short memory. Okay, all you have to do is charge or flame one of the small animals running around. When you do, POOF! A butterfly appears. Then I'll take care of the rest.
You know that you can pick things up in your mouth and spit them? If you see something like a small rock lying on the ground, just walk up to it and you will grab it in your mouth. To spit it, just press the \\O button. Press and hold the \\A button if you want to aim.

Here, take this Dragon Rune to the Dragon Spirit over there. With this Rune he'll be able to combine Dragon Magic and my magic, and grant you bubble breath to catch dragonflies. They're shy and will probably run away from you any time you come near them.
Use the L1 button to switch back and forth between fire and bubble breath.
Ready for a dip, Spyro? Once you're in the water press and hold the \\D button to dive below the surface, then press the \\X button to swim. If you need to, you can press \\D button to swim faster. Of course, your breath attacks don't work underwater, but you can swim fast enough to bash any enemy that gets in your way.
Climbing is the best way to get yourself up to those out-of-reach places, Spyro. Anytime you see a ladder like this, just jump up against it to grab on, then use the left analog stick to move in any direction. You can jump while on the ladder by pressing the \\X button. To get off of the ladder, either climb all the way to the top, or press the \\X button while moving down with the left analog stick.

Banzai Speedway is home to the most peaceful course in the East. They offer two challenges here: a peaceful obstacle course, or a race against those dumb ninja Riptocs that have taken over the place!
Which challenge would you like to play?
The easiest way to win the time attack is to start with the rings, light the lanterns, bust down the rickshaws and then chase down those dumb Riptocs. After you have gotten used to flying around, you can always find a faster way around the course. Banzai.
Make sure to fly through each of the green rings. Your opponents are the famous gang of hang gliding ninjas and they are pretty fast, but not faster than a dragon. The red dots will mark the course, so make sure you follow them!
