i am sure in the third game of the trilogy Cynder will die because its the trilogie of the beginner and why whe see hunter in the credit of The Eternal Night? i am not a vs Cynder i like Cynder i say just that

i agree, she may die. This ones up in the air, both endings will make critics quite happy, namely the cynder dieing one.

What if... Ignitus dies?! That sure would be a plot twist! I can imagine it.

Spyro: Don't die Ignitus!
Ignitus: It's my time, Spyro. Well done, young dragon... May the ancestors look after you... May they look after... Us all...

It would be so dramatic and unexpected! And then Cynder would comfort Spyro and have the love-filled romantic scene everyone wants.

we really cant judge yet at all, Krome have said nothing about the third TLOS. we'll have to wait & see.

Much like at this point last year they denied everything about The Eternal Night, so we'll never really know until when the months start rolling in.

Though a character death would be a firm addition to a storyline, it does seem to end up being "added for the sake of tension" in most epics these days. I do have to admit though, the butchering of Gaul was really explosive in itself and I'm already satisfied with that tongue

this is my logical assumption of the third game:

FULLA CLICHE'S just like the last two.

don't get me wrong, I love the Spyro games. and I love Cynder, before anybody decided to flame me.

my theory is, that Hunter is a stalker (srsly) and followed Spyro through his trek to Fellmuth and beyond, somehow drawn to him, as if by fate. (FOREBODING) when the Dark Master broke free, he knew he needed a host body. everybody would get the Ghostbusters on him otherwise. the Dark Master then possessed Spyro's body, as we all know. and judging by the replay of the main game if tyou beat the Dragon Challenges (though I'm sure it wast a little tidbit) the DM could possess the purple hero whenever he choses, lying dormant within Spyro. SO when Spyro and Cynder get out, eventually the DM totally takes over Spyro and he goes on a murderous rampage. Eventually, after slaughtering countless innocents (as always...) he corners Sparx and Cynder. He then, against his will but totally because the Dark Master was displeased with her, kills Cynder. Spyro then goes though a personal struggle (a la Psychonauts or Eternal Darkness) to regain his sanity and force the Dark Master's spirit from his body.

ALTHOUGH that seems too gruesome for a game that's a 7+, OH WELL. A fangirl can dream.

ALSO it'd totally be pointless and expected if one of the elders died. big_smile

thats a nice adiptation, but knowone knows. Im am very outraged that Spyro will celebrate his 10th generation with TLOS 3. But owell, atleast hes still going, even if he has gotton everything he was sucked right from him.

Well, I think we can all expect this; the Dark Master will more then expectantly die. The villains always die in the Spyro games. But I don't think Cynder should die, I love her character, but it would add a great plot twist. I'd like, if the Dark Master does possess Spyro, you either play as Cynder or Hunter to defeat him. Now playing as one of them would be good.

I agree with you, but THeres a slim chance that they'll add extra playable characters.

Or what about both of them working together in a same mission? both doing parts to get from one place to another.

But since that Cynder is now basically a new but popular dragon character, and krome would have relised that by know, they might have cinsidered Her as being a playable character in the next game

The Dark Master will obviously be defeated in gtthe final game, but we're not sure what it wikll take it to defeat him, obviously there will be sacrifice required. Both Spyro and Sparx are safe, obviously, Cynder is likely to survive, otherwise there's no other dragons of Spyro's age. The Guardians are questions marks, since the CVhroniclers feared the worst for thier safety.

Cynder: If I die, I'm going to die by your side. I'm going.

Yes...I know, cliched. (btw, how do you add accents above the letters?) But a good portion of the story has already been cliched. So it fits right in.
