Blaze: The Way of the Protector. I don't plan on charging wildly into battle. I'd prefer to make my attacks carefully. Although... I've heard of some styles in combat, where a pair of swords are used, one for attacking, and one for defensive purposes. Those are only rumors though, so I'm not exactly sure if it's true or not.

Leon: Well of course, but im just giving you the basics of the human combat, i belive the two swords combined are in a class called heavy assasin, you need much skill for that....

Blaze: Understandable. You know, it's funny. Sun Li always said to keep the basics close to your heart, because in many cases, they will save your life more than the advanced techniques, because their are less flaws in the basics, and because they teach you not to underestimate your opponent. He was the best strategist to ever exist, far greater than any war marshal could ever hope to achieve. It's ironic that he let his power go to his head, let the basics escape his mind, leading to his fall. He believed he didn't need the basics because he was a "god." *walks over to a suit of scarlet armor, with golden shoulder plates, and a golden insignia shaped like a flame on the chestplate, and takes it off of the armor rack*

OOC: Blaze was given a gift by the Water Dragon, a human form. So now, he has to learn how to defend himself as a human. He's showing Leon around the academy armory.

Blaze: *finishes putting the suit of armor on, throws a black cloak over the back and shoulders, tying it around his neck, and walks back into the room. The armor gives him an intimidating appearance to those who don't know him* Well, it's not all bad. You are a friend of ours, and that's what's important.

Blaze: Hehe... man, back when I was in the academy with Spyro, Cynder, Frost, Raikou, Tempest, Illadin, Vulcan and Almu, Raikou would always play jokes on me. Some scared me half to death. Perhaps now would be a time to get even for one of those times. *chuckles, and then takes a sword, a sheath, and a shield. He puts the sword in the sheath, mounting it on the back of his cloak, the shield on top of it* He doesn't know I'm human now, so... his reaction should be good.

Blaze: What can I say, I don't take anything that has the potential to kill me. And some of the pranks he pulled nearly got me killed. Like one time, he found a section of the academy that was a gauntlet. He never told me what was in there, he just told me he found this "cool" place, and he showed it to me. As soon as I went inside, he locked the door and I couldn't get out. I was almost sliced into pieces from all of the guillotine blades that dropped from the ceiling.

Blaze: I have no idea why that part was in the academy, but I made sure to have that gauntlet taken out when we rebuilt this place. Anyway, it's time to scare Raikou. I'm not going to do anything that could potentially kill him, just something to scare him out of his wits. I wonder what Varse's reaction would be. Probably run for his life, seeing as how he got scared when Frost and I used illusions to make us look like our darker selves.

Blaze: I don't know, but the people who made this armor said that it could make the wearer look very intimidating if it's unknown as to whether or not they're friend or foe. It would probably scare Raikou so much, just seeing me walk towards him with sword in hand, that he'd freeze in place.
