Defeating Red The First Time

I am having trouble defeating red at the ice level. I have gottem to stage three when the lazers try to kill you, but i can't seem to dodge the lazers very good. is there a secret to dodging the lazers?

Yes there is. All you have to do is walk the way the lasers are going. You .won't have to jump or anything.Hope I could help. smile

Strangely enough... beating Red the first time is harder than the second... wink
If you master him the first time without loosing health... (maby one or two sparks are okay...) you'lle complete the game in no time (used a day...)

I got problems with the last time facing Red because of a annoying mad Glitch in the game... (I fall through the floor after i try to fly)

You must be talking about the first time on the ice. Ok let me think.... When the TNT (bomb boxes) come out, all you have to do is flame them in the direction of Red, and they will blow up on him. Don't get too close or he will whack you with his tail. Once you hit him a couple times with those, he will start melting the areana, and it is possible for you to fall off. When he starts using the lightning you walk the same way as the lasers of light are going to survive. I think after a little while the TNT boxes come back and you do the same thing as before. (I'm not sure about the last part, but I think that's right....)

beating red for the first time was really hard for me but I'm still looking for the rest of the dark gems to beat him the second time but looking for the rest of the dark gems is really hard

well hard games= my motto for hards games
Work it Harder, Makes us Stronger
where is the thrill in annoying easy games o_O none
Remeber: hard games not only make your progress enjoyable, it also give you yourself exp as well
like rpg charactor lvl up you do too

harder the games, more exp you gain

Note: i had no idea that i had this in the deep void of my mind O:)

Why are there lasers whilst fighting Red, I really do dislike lasers, and they were annoying.

In my first playthrough in finsihing this, I never got hit a single time in any boss. It just requires a lot of experience and skill. Reminder though, I remember a part wherein there is one row of laser that covers 2 vertical spaces, leaving the jump as a non-dodge skill. Running is slower than the laser's centripetal motion on the field, and charging is too fast, as I've seen, so what I practically do there is I run-charge-run-charge-run-repeat-bla-bla-bla so that I don't get hit, and because of my huge experience in VGs, I never got hit.
