No, details say that there will be co-op for player 2 in TLoS: tDH so... normaly even in 1 player the 2nd player will stick close by all the time.

WHat the Chronicler said was based on Cynder's past, and trying to get Spyro to stay with him until the time is right (I don't know.).

When Cynder was young, she didn't know no other way. She was confused and a lost soul then and was forced as a hatchling to do terrible things.

But now Cynder has Spyro looking out for her and caring for her, showing kindness, friendship and love. From this, I predict that Cynder, is very determined to stop the Dark Master in his tracks. So basically, It is very unlikely that Cynder wil go evil again,

Judging by the glimpse we saw in the book on Cynder's life, she will be turned back into an adult,and submit to his domination again.. whether or not that happens, remains to be seen..

The Chronicler meant that Cynder didn't know anything else than leaving the good side and live in the shadows. It doesn't mean she's going to be evil, just that she's afraid of doing something wrong with the good guys. She only know how to behaive with the black-hearted (the evil)

I think Cynder will be good and help Spyro defeat the Dark Master. Even though she was taken and forced to be a monster, Spyro saved her and prevented her from becoming evil again.
With Spyro looking after her and loving her the way he does, I think she'll be an ally for Spyro.

Isn't destiny a strange thing? we're so happy to follow it when it means good for us - spyro has no problems with being the dragon of prophecy, but Cynder's prophecy is a terrible and disturbing one.

What I wodner... Is Spyro prepared to sacrifice his own belief in his own prophecy, in order to help Cynder escape the fate that hers has laid out for her? Wven it comes down to it, all that remains is to make the choice.

And with that bit of melodrama outta the way - I'm pretty sure Cynder will come through okay. The gal's got spunk. smile

Of course she'll be fine. You can't honestly think the second main character, that's female no less, would die off in the last game? Psh, naw.
I'm sure the Dark Master (I swear he'd better be in this game decked out in full 3D polygonal glamour because I WANT SOME DRAWING REFERENCES) will probably knock her out or 'corrupt' her again, possibly in one of those scenes where Cynder's yelling and writhing in a predictable psychological battle that will drain her of her strength and leave her knocked out for most of the fight between D.M. and Spyro; at the last minute when it looks like Spyro is going to lose she wakes up and goes nuts on him, thus restoring Spyro's will to fight.

I bet Spyro is willing to sacrifice all for her, i mean he denied the chronicler in staying, but the way he does it does not seem like a sacrifice of friendship, but of love.... my personal oppinion... but the words he says

we ALL know they like echother. you can REALLY REALLY tell. cause he didnt leave her behind in ANB and he DIDN'T want her to leave the temple and he DIDN'T want to stay with the chronicle to go save her. and they wouldn't make a female character for no reason. you just know that it'll happen. Her destiny is a dark one.. and she she likely has the blood of guardians on her claws. She turned the tide of battle against Ignitus and his forces within a few months. Which shows she has great power. It is also obvious that Spyro cares for her deeply, and it would not be much of a stretch at all to say he's in love with her. Many of us, myself included have gone out on that limb..If the scenes showed in the book on Cynder in TEN are correct, she wil likely be turned back into Dark Cynder in the 3rd story. Against her will, or perhaps through submitting herself in order to sabve her life.

The whole "her destiny is a dark one" was from the chronicler himself. He bases one's destiny on the past, and that is something I do not go with. Basing someone's destiny on a bad past doesn't guarantee they will have a bad future, and that is what the book showed. Spyro risked his life to save Cynder from Melefor, Spyro saved Cynder, Sparx and himself from the collapsing mountain, so Cynder has seen that he cares for her alot, and Spyro would do whatever it takes to make sure she has a bright future, with no evil.

As you can tell, I am on the "Spyro cares for her deeply, and he is in love with her" limb, not against it. big_smile
