Insomniac Spyro RPG

Considering he was a bird, Luke wasn't a bad swimmer. He emerged from the pool inside of the castle.

He shook his feathers to dry himself, then relised that what he just did was pointless, because he would be swimming again in a few minutes.

He made his way to the courtyard where the portal to Aquaira Towers was situated. The courtyard was a very peaceful place, with a few sheep hopping around here and there. Luke quite liked this place and often came here.

However, he wasn't here for the courtyard though, the portal to Aquaria Towers lied at one side, waiting to be used.

Luke, stepped back a bit, then ran right at the portal and jumped through it. After a few minutes, Luke found himself swimming in the main chamber.

He made his way towards one of the small towers, which served as houses for the seahorse reseidents, and knocked on the door.

"Just a second!" Someone said from inside. There was a click and the door opened to revele the tower's occupent, a seahorse.

"Oh Luke! It's a suprise to see you hear so early on in the day, you don't usally come for at least a few hours yet. Is there a problem?"

"No, there isn't any problem, Ripple. I just felt like coming early today."

Ripple cocked his head. "Come on Luke, you can tell me. Why're you here really?"

"Can I come in and tell you? I'd quite like a piece of your seaweed cake."

"That's fine, I just made a fresh batch of cake too."

"So all those people just showed up out of nowhere?" Ripple asked, after hearing Luke's story.

"Yeah, one minute I was washing my face, then they all showed up out of no where. It was very strange."

"Hmm...What did they look like excatly?"

"Well, there was a few fauns, and a couple of dragons..."

"Wait, Dragons? There hasn't been a dragon in Avalar since Spyro saved us from Ripto a couple of years back."

"Yeah, it's strange. Why would they come here?"

"I'm not sure...Maybe they're tourists or something?"

"They could be, Avalar has a lot of intresting places. Sunny Beach, Zeypher, Breeze Harbour, Scorch, Metropolis, you know."

"Well that's probrobly it. They're just tourists on vacation."

"Phew, I'm glad we figured that one out..."

OOC: Ripple is the first Seahorse you find in Aquaria Towers in Spyro 2. Just in case you didn't know.

Luke and Ripple were sitting on top of Aquaria Towers, admiring the sky from below the oceans surface.

Luke was still a little worried though. It was strange how so many people had shown up in summer forest all of a sudden. They didn't really seem like tourists to him.

"Are you alright Luke?" Ripple asked. "You always enjoy coming up here to admire the view, but today you look far off. Is something wrong?"

"Well, it's those "tourists"..." Luke replied.

"You're still thinking about them?"

"Yeah, it's just strange how no Dragons come to Avalar for several years, then several show up at once?"

"I suppose it is pretty strange...But I don't think you should worry about it. It doesn't sound like they're doing any harm."

"...I guess your right. Thanks for the help Ripple."

"Anytime."

"Anyway...Oh! What day is it?"

"Saturday. Why?"

"I just remebered I'm supposed to be competing at a flying contest at Harbour Speedway! The grand prize is supposed to be 5000 gems."

"Wow, 5000 gems? I woudn't know what to spend it on. Do you think you could win?"

"Well, I've been practicing quite a bit. I think I might be able to come in a high place."

"Well what are you waiting for? Get going."

"Okay, I'll see you later." Luke said. He began to swim away, but then stopped.

"Hey Ripple..."

"Yeah?"

"Would you like to come and watch?"

"Well...How much water is there?"

"Well, I'll have to carry you through Summer Forest, but seriously, Harbour Speedway Ripple."

"Point made. Let's go!"

Crystal: *eating berrys behind a bush in summer forest* Argh no fools have come up yet, riptos gonna kill us...WHAT DO YOU SEE

Crush: *in tree* A BIRD

Crystal I dont care about the bird!

Crush: Its a rainbowish bird though and he;s talkin bout dragons, er somtin like dat

Crystal: Whaaat? *knocks crush of tree and looks out and sees luke*

Crush: *thud* ouch....x_o

Crystal: Hmm dragons come around once in a while, that could be usful, pfft although ripto did fail his first attemp here, AND IT WAS HALF YOU'RE FAULT TO!

Crush: Sorry? O_o *scratchs head*

Crystal: *jots down info in notebook* get up lazy, we have more spying to do *whacks crush with notebook*

Crush: Ok ok ok you dont gotta be so bossy, gosh i wish gulp were here...its so BOOOOOOORING

Crystal: Get over it you crybaby! We're not done until I SAY SO

Crush: Ok ok ok

"...Phew...Ripple...How much seaweed cake have you been eating?"

Luke was carrying Ripple through Summer Forest, making his way towards the Harbour sppedway portal.

"Come on Luke, I'm not that heavy. Hmm...Everything is so nice up here on the surface. Beautiful green grass, brilliant blue sky. I should come up here more often."

"I'd be happy...To bring you...up here...if you...lose some weight."

"Ha ha ha, very funny..."

"Ohh, a dragon! I haven't seen one since Spyro helped us a couple of years ago." Ripple leaned closer to Luke.

"Is this one of the dragons you mentioned?" He wispered.

"No...I haven't...Seen him...Before..."

Inferno: *he looks around and spots a portal that appears to lead to Harbor Speedway and starts to walk over, but he finally gets used to the weight and starts to carry him almost without effort*

Crystal: Hmm, what are they doing? *slys closer* A dragon eh? Mabye he knows where spyros at... just a few more observations and he might spill some info about spyro to those guys over there...if he knows any

Crush: I hope this goes quick, im hungry. *steps on branch and makes snapping noise* Opps...

"He might not be Ripple, it could be a coincidence." Luke said.
