Music Sharing
There is to be no sharing of Spyro music, discussing sharing Spyro music, or discussing how to obtain illegal Spyro music.
Just recently, a member here attempted to sell music from Spyro: A Hero's Tail for gems. SR locked the topic, and I PMed and warned the member. If he does it again, he will be banned. The same goes for infringing on any of the other rules I afore mentioned. However, this is not the first time members have done similiar things.
Sierra has recently filed a lawsuit against a website that shared Spyro music. The hosts, the website, and the uploaders are all involved in the suit. If that were to happen here, not only would legal action be taken against SR, but it would be taken against the member(s) who uploaded AND downloaded the music as well.
This is an ultimatum: Do not share, discuss about sharing, or provide information on where to find illegally shared Spyro music or you WILL be banned permanetly. This affects everyone. Doesn't matter how long you've been here or what you've done for the community.
I think anyone with common sense should agree and talk heed to what I have said.

Re: Music Sharing
If you have permission from the author to share it, you may.

Re: Music Sharing
I got a question: Is it legal for peeps to discuss how to copy spyro music from game discs they legally own? Because there is programs on the 'net that rips game music. And since you own the game, you can do whatever you like with it, as long as you don't share it?

Re: Music Sharing
I think it would be best not to attempt to share the spyro music unless someone ever finds the time to get written permission from the owners

Re: Music Sharing
Again, if you read correctly you would see that I said it is NOT legal to share Spyro music, but the process of ripping the music can be discussed only if a disclaimer is given.

Re: Music Sharing
...The music is not illegal, only illegal to share with other people who may not own the game.
To avoid complications, all official spyro music may not be shared on this forum or through PMs.
