Illadin moved away from Alana in pure shame, he felt like he was crule and selfish for not telling her that their friends were bead before. [made worse by the fact that he had spent so much time cuddling with her before showing her the corpses]

By this time the ever-so-bold [sarcasm] Silabus scuttled into the catacombs when his mother and father had looked away. He was cassing a large black, leather bound book in his mouth.

"I hope this works... If not Father will cut off my horns and tail then beat me with them."

Illadin was quiet for a moment, thinking back to what SIlabus had told him, "Silabus found them buried under a mountion of rocks. I can't tell you if that's really how they died but that's my guess."

Silabus layed the book down beside Frost's bodie and flipped through it with his nose, "Where is it, where is it," he muttered to himself wile scanning the pages of the book. The after a long section on torture Silabus came to the page he was looking for.

"Black magics" he wispered to himself wile taking a moment's pause. Then dove back into the book looking again.

Alana: Well, if it was in the Peace Keepers Realm, that is a great possibility. Rockslides happen there all the time. When I met Frost for the first time, she said that that was how Blaze's parents were almost killed when he was 8. *sighs* This couldn't possibly get any worse. Two of our friends are dead, and we don't have a resurrection tablet or master of the Hero Within anywhere near us!

Illadin was just about to ask what a "Master of the Hero Within" was when he caught a glimps of Silabus. Illadin thought about shuting at him and running him off, but stopped himself

"Let him pay his respects," he though to himself, "He's not harming anything, and running him off would only make things worse."

Silabus meanwile was concentrating so hard on his task in the book that he diddn't even notice his father's prying eyes, instead he came to the part of the book entitled "Sacrifices and Blood Offerings". Glancing at the illastrations Silabus felt himself become slight queezy. Flipping the pages again Silabus came to the title " Captue and Relising of the Souls of the Dead and *bleep*"

"Found it," muttered Silabus with a smile creeping upon his face, then began reading sylently in the torch light.

Alana: You're probably wondering what the Hero Within is. It's a special ability that's gained through years of training and learning. Wedger, Vyper, Blaze and Frost are all masters of the Hero Within. A master of it learns an ability that can revive the dead as soon as they gain that rank.

"She's readin' my mind again," though Illadin as he listened to Alana give her overview of Hero Within
"Thank's girl,' said Illadin moving back to her side again, "How do you read my mind all the time?" asked Illadin as he nuzzled Alana.

"Candles, rope, and something from the corpses themselvs..." read Silabus.

"Ok, I know where to get the rope, the candles can't be too diffcult concidering how many time Illadin has chased mom to their bedroom.." Silabus shuddered at the ideaof his mother and faters pastime, "Now about those items from the coprses," though SIlabus, plucking a scale from both Frost and Blaze.

DB: *wakes up and starts thrashing around, trying to break the net* When I get out of this thing, I'll destroy this place!

Kage: I don't think so. Immobilus! *binds DB to the ground* Hmph, luckily, thanks to the assorted books in my sanctum, I've learned a spell that can force DB's spirit out of Enfer. I need to know as much as possible if I'm supposedly going to take my ancestor's place.

DB: You're bluffing!

Kage: Am I? I don't bluff, or lie for that matter.

Illadin wasn't as insulted as he pretended to be, he was more amused, "Hey! That's not fair! I'm not an idiot!," was said in the most insulted voice he could manage without havving a smile break upon his face. He let sylen reign for a moment, then let himself smile and said, "At least I didn't get myself pinned by a bunch of demons."

Wile the two adults were conversing, Silabus slipped sylently into their bedroom. He glanced about quickly for some candles but found none.

"Drat," siad Silabus as he moved over inot a closet and looked in their, "What the!...What are they ding with whips?" he asked aloud as he tripped over a coiled whip, "And chains?" as he walked gengerly around a pile of chains.

After what seemed ages to Silabus, but was only about 2 minets, he finnaly managed to excape with about 5 candles tucked in his mouth.

"Ok, all I need now is some...rope..." though SIlabus, knowing that the only place to find rope was to back into his parents room.
"Awww SOB!!" he though in his head as he cantered back into the bedroom

Alana: They only caught me off guard. I could've taken them in a real fight. Besides, demons are really strong, almost as strong as we are. What's more humiliating is that you were caught off guard, knocked unconscious and nearly killed by an ape. What was his name again? Oh yeah, Devildog. (lol, reminds me of a snack food)

Illadin remember too well about the isnadent that Alana sopke about, "I alway thought the deamons were more embarsing as we all know that their evil. But the Devildog thing was something anyone could fall for! e said he wanted to make a deal, and I belived him... hey he always honerable before then!"

Silabus stood shaking with anticpation at what he was about to do,
"They'll be alive again, Crystal will have her mom and dad back, and if I'm really luck, they'll take me in as one of their oun..."
Silabus smiled as he hid the items from view, waiting to start the ritual untill his parents were asleep.

DB: I'll destroy that imp when I get to him!

Kage: Not today DB! *finishes the expulsion spell, and DB's spirit is forced out of Enfer's body, which returns to normal, but is broken in many places from the attacks that struck DB*

Enfer: Ouch... *falls unconscious from the sudden pain he feels*

Alana: I knew the demons were evil, which is why I made it a priority to keep as far away from them as possible. It's not my fault they jumped me out of nowhere! Anyway, we should turn in. I'm getting tired.
