Tails: Come on Cosmo.....lets get you back to camp. *he hops on the hoverboard and helps her on behind him.* Hold on tight. *he turns around and flashes her a reassuring smile*
Cosmo: *she grasps onto Tails' waist as if it was the only thing to keep her from falling.* I-I-I'm sorry I've caused so much trouble.....
Tails: No, it's not your fault Cosmo. And I'll make sure that nothing happens to you again.....I-I-I love you *Cosmo gives a faint smile at this*
Cosmo: I love you too.....*she rests her head on Tails' shoulder, letting his body support her weight, protect her, and make her feel like she belongs somewhere.*
Tails: *whispers* off we go.....*he goes slow on the hoverboard, due to having it support two people and the fact that he nearly pushed it to the point of falling apart on the way there.*

*The moon was starting to set, making way into dawn, when Tails rode in with Cosmo. He was tired, and even more so was Cosmo, even though the board had stopped, she still clung to him, almost afraid to let go. He picks her up and carries her back to the tent.*
Tails: Come on Cosmo, try to get a little sleep. *She wouldn't let go, just holding tighter* Cosmo?
Cosmo: *Cosmo's reply was muffled, and so she loosens enough so that he can hear her* Don't leave me......I'm scared.
Tails: Okay Cosmo. *he sits down, half propped up by the back of the tent pole, and Cosmo rests her head on his chest and falls asleep.*
