Glow and Shadow broken?

I don't know if there is already a topic about this, but the glow function doesn't work well. Here 3 tests, one with glow list, one with colour name and one with colour code.

[glow=red:fab99cdff8]TESTING[/glow:fab99cdff8]
[glow=green:fab99cdff8]TESTING[/glow:fab99cdff8]
[glow=#FF0024:fab99cdff8]TESTING[/glow:fab99cdff8]

See? Neither of them works. Try it yourself, the codes disappear but nothing happens. Quote me and you'll see that I used glow=<colour> and /glow

It doesn't seem to be working, even with default options.

I swear it used to work on Internet Explorer.... =/

Anyone got an old version of IE they could test it on?

Not a very important tag anyway, but if it doesn't work, it might as well be taken off.

IE8 here.
[shadow=red:2225d07436]Doesn't work...[/shadow:2225d07436] Neither on GC. Didn't try on firefox though.
However, as you see font colours do work.

Another test:
[shadow=green:2225d07436]TESTING[/shadow:2225d07436]

Shadow is broken as well.

Isn't that weird? When you are posting, the glow does work in the Topic Review... I hope this'll solve some problems.

Still using IE8? I looked at the topic review on Chrome and it's still not showing up.

Yeh, I'm still using IE8. I'm kinda close to the program. I tried Chrome though, but imo I don't mind the difference in speed, and I'm used to IE8, in which you CAN use the chat wink

Anyways, does this solve anything?

I used Firefox before it became slow. I'm really impatient, and Chrome is very fast and easy to use. Only downside I see to it is the chat doesn't work. >.>

Anyways, it doesn't solve anything for me because I didn't code this site tongue , but it seems like it would be helpful. The post review has the default layout, so I would guess it's something to do with a stylesheet or script or something that's applied to the forum pages. As for the other browsers, they probably just don't support that effect.

Just a brainstorm here...

It can have something to do with, according to me:

The scrolling thingy for signatures
The Chat [Idk, it sems to do weird things as well]]
But the closest thing is, according to me, the sponsors. From the moment they came, I already thought glow was broken. I could be wrong though...

lol this is weird.. I'm getting nothing on my updated IE... idk..probably should take it off since it's having problems.. I've never seen it used before anyhow..
