Full Character Poster Revealed

The character poster of all the Skylanders have been revealed on a site created for Nickelodeon UK tour of Skylanders. And a character you didn't expect is also in Skylanders: Cynder, under the element of Undead.

for the record, I was pretty sure she would be in the game in the beginning. Although the long time with this being well hidden by Activision I started to doubt, it turns out I was thinking right.

Now, it may have been that they took the rage against her not appearing to heart and decided to put her in later, but it wouldn't explain all of the other times Activision has put up the "dont care" sign when the spyro fantards give them hate email.

And as far as the rage against Cynder...?

Unless they release a starter pack with Cynder in it, there's no reason to complain about her being in the game, because she wont be in it if you don't buy the toy.

here's image if anyone's having trouble with that site. It seems to suck the life out of flash. I had to use Chrome in order for it to work. This is the best copy of the poster i have found. The names of unrevealed characters are wild guessing games at best,

Dark Spyro, Legendary Spyro, Chop Chop, and Bash don't count as the main 32 Skylanders.

I can see three possible (non-neutral) reactions from fans about this (Highlight to see the spoilers).

1. How dare they!? First they desecrate Spyro and now they're ruining Cynder, too?!
2. Why are they adding stuff from a horrible series like TLoS to this game?!
3. Awesome! I'm buying that Cynder toy as soon as it comes out!

I've been away since this development; what's the overall reaction so far?

I'm overjoyed at Cynder's inclusion, but it is confusing me. The only non-Spyro characters coming back from past games are Dark Spyro and Cynder, both LoS characters. But I thought Skylanders was based more on Classic Spyro, so where are Hunter and Sparx?

Oh well, at least now Spyro's not the only returning character. Oh, plus the sheep.

Perhaps they meant as far as the overall feel of the game. Skylanders has a friendly atmosphere it looks like compared to the lore tLoS had.

And forgive me for not providing spoiler tags. Is this really spoiler-worthy? You would find out by the time the game releases anyways, if you were interested in buying the game.

Might not be spoiler-worthy, but I thought I'd include them just in case anyone wanted to be surprised on the release date. People did the same thing with the new generation of Pokemon a few months back.

Speaking of which, when is the official release date for the game? Going to have to put up a reminder about spoilers when it gets close....

October 16th for the US and October 14th for Europe. But recently they said October 11th for the US and October 14th for Europe, though there wasn't really any actual confirmation.

Your a little wrong, Insane Cynder fans are disgusted of her new appearance, she shares most of the features of the other dragon characters *Ugly* and they hate her new body structure.

In-short it's repulsed them.

Ironically they brought back a old character....You recall the balloon guy who transported you to boss battles and worlds in the classic Spyro games? Well his back and his a fish

Finally!!!! All 32 names. 4 charries per element, like i had guessed, and whats this?? Skill ratings for each character? AWESOME!!! They look to intentional to be irrevelant.

Also interesting, the total skill points used by the characters for Gill Grunt and Trigger Happy both add up to 220, but Spyro adds to 270.

ha! wrecking ball was a name, just not Ghost Roaster's.

forgive me, but why would anyone ever "request" Sparx? Sparx should be an expected certainty. even in TLOS they still put him in every game.

not that the character selection was based on fan-requests, we don't know that they were even open to suggestions during development.

Because Sparx has been with Spyro from the very beginning, and most fans want to keep it that way, even in a spin-off game.

Neither were any of the LoS characters, really. Spyro himself was especially forgettable. People like Cynder, though, probably mostly because she's the only female dragon left and thus the only possible mate for Spyro. And we know how much people like shipping.

Not sure if it was a good move on their part to put her in or not. Die-hard LoS fans and Skylanders antis won't be happy, but I don't think Activision cares about the old fanbase anyway.

They don't, they recently spoke out that the older fanbase aren't their main concern and demographic.
