Re: Spyro HD Remastered Screenshots
interesting... is this real?
There are clear jagged edges, and you can even see polygon lines. There's no way that something as big as a Spyro HD remaster that looks so bad by modern gaming standards could be real, and I can tell that you don't think that this is real by the lack of enthusiasm in your post.
The simplicity of this topic's title would imply that this is official, but I can see from bazwilkinson85's previous posts that this is just a personal project.

Well implying its a REMASTER, upscaling the graphics quality as shown in the original post is quite common for most titles without any actual model changes (Or very few) games like Final Fantasy X Remaster was basically replaced cutscenes, slightly higher Anti-Aliasing as well as including other things like morphological filtering. It well could be possible that a remaster look like something in the OP if they were not switching game engine.

Spyro's model is also clearly different.

Re: Spyro HD Remastered Screenshots
I do wonder what Spyro's model would look like if his vertices were multiplied by 2 just to make him smoother looking.

I would get to work on trying this but then I remembered I am useless at models/wireframes... XD

Doesn't look like a AAA title, like you said.
But honestly, I would be enticed to look into it if this was real, but a forum post on a tiny forums site can't even be close to official.

Re: Spyro HD Remastered Screenshots
Pretty sure this is Garry's mod, judging by the water and the model.
I'm not sorry if I offended you.

It was most likely made in the Source Editor (which is the same engine that Gmod uses)

Re: Spyro HD Remastered Screenshots
I was careful with the title of the post.. These aren't any mod or anything, I simply opened some of the Spyro levels in Cinema4D and rendered in HQ. Water textures added by myself. Spyro model is the original character model, only I have applied smoothing already as someone suggested above.
Sorry if I suggested this was from a new game, just having a but of fun (as per previous post!)
Would be good though..

Re: Spyro HD Remastered Screenshots
Okay, that is definitely the Enter the Dragonfly model. Wasn't there another fan-made Classic model? I kind of want to see pictures of him in those backgrounds.

^ agreed. But I like it.
I haven't seen the fan-made Classic model, although I'd like too.

Re: Spyro HD Remastered Screenshots
It's awesome it looks exactly like a HD Version of the classics, good luck with the project! I wish this could happen one day!
