Re: Would you want Cynder back?

DotD's Cynder was definately a fail considering the lack of mysterious personality she ended up having.

Hey! >_<

Hey! >_<

It ain't over though.  If they continue with Cynder, they need to do a good job with her backstory and personality.  in TEN, she was so mysterious, and then at the beginning of DotD, Spyro and Cynder acted like they knew each other years (minus the three years they spent frozen in time...)

Re: Would you want Cynder back?

I said yes, and I'll explain why:

It's not that I like her so much as it is I wish for the franchise to continue and prosper. I think that this, er, jingoism, if you will, towards Cynder could possably lead to better sales, more publicity, and more games. If she goes, I could see a lot of people protesting the franchise, and leading it to it's demise. Of course that's just the way that I see it.

Re: Would you want Cynder back?

No, no and no again.

Spyro and Cynder have gone too far - Spyro was never meant to have a love interest, at least not a serious one. Cynder has taken over the whole LOS series, and she belongs to that trioledgy and that trioledgy only. She shouldn't keep reapearing in games when she's, pretty much, only just been invented. Sparx has been there all the way, and if they keep letting Cynder reappear then they might as well call the game Spyro and Cynder's Kingdom. She doesn't belong there, she's like Elora - she's there for a single set of games.

Elora was a good character though.

If not for fans of her I'd agree unless a new game follwed up the tLoS story line. Random character disappearnace is bad.

I don't like Elora.  But even I think that's absurd.  *pulls out mace*

Exsacly. If they bring her back then thats just like saying "hey fans like her lets keep her so they will keep getting our games!!!!!!!!!!!!!" its a bad tactic and is why im feeling BLAGG about spyro now.

Re: Would you want Cynder back?

I hate when people make the relationships worse than they are.  I personally have no problem with Cynder and Spyro loving each other as friends who work together to fight evil.  It's "that one kind of tension", often added and exaggerated by fantards, that bugs me.  The "Amy Rose" type characters such as Ember (and of course Amy Rose of the Sonic franchise) are annoying, but because the tension is not present, I am not bothered.

Sorry, I meant best friends who try to comfort each other in times of despair.  Even if they are BF and GF, I can accept that, because it's not a perverted, fast-paced relationship.

They already seem to lack genitalia.  We don't know where the eggs come from (delivered by fairies in the original series, no explanation in new series) so I'm sticking to my theory that they are still delivered by fairies every 12 years.

that's not anatomy, that's programming. e_e sure dragons have genitals, but they're not going to put that in a kid's game.

Well actually some mammals and reptiles have them in the inside at all times, it only comes out when mating starts...Dinosaurs mostly had theirs from the inside

Re: Would you want Cynder back?

As polygonal creatures in a polygonal world, they only have virtual skin (and invisible bones that just control movement).  They lack all other organs.
But as characters meant to be enjoyed by children, I believe there is a stork delivery system in place of mating.
