A massively multiplayer online game (also called MMO) is a multiplayer video game which is capable of supporting hundreds or thousands of players simultaneously. Essentialy they are massive games where a character can wander around and interact/chat with others, e.g. Runescape.

If you liked the old Spyro, the first Ratchet and Clank game comes highly recommended (it's very similar in tone and gameplay style, and Ratchet and the old Spyro have a lot in common in terms of personality).

This is why I want to get all of the Ratchet games big_smile
But I don't agree with only the first game being close to Spyro - I haven't played those games yet but Youtube videos show that they are all really close to our beloved dragon.
Ratchet is close to Spyro and Clank is close to Sparx. At least in terms of personality.

Anyway, a co-op might be nice (a bit more extended if possible) but I don't really want a full-blown MMO - I don't play World of Warcraft for a reason tongue

I personally belive that an MMO will damage spyro, although many MMO games have turned out well, spyro has already undergone many MAJOR changes between Original And TLOS games, i think we should keep it simple and keep going the way the games have been progressing

Completely agree with you, Whitewind. Spyro should be single-player only.

If this were to be a MMO, I would prefer it to be not to be on the Wii/DS as rumored. Nintendo has easily the worst of the three companies' (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo) online capabilities.

Witch is why i dobt it will be a MMO i mean it will single a few fans out without internet access and sutch, and lets be honist spytro needs all the fans he can get right now...

We know, Activision deleted the evidence of Spyro's Kingdom from that page since December 2010...

Ah ok. But its still being made by Activision and Blizzard?

If it is a MMO i hope to the land of the Zaishen that it isnt a pay to play. (Zaishen is a honorable people that train under and serve the god, Balthazar in guild wars another MMO. X3 they are extreamly deadly in PvP.)

They HAVE merged, but the Activision side still holds the rights to Spyro. If you're still confused, then I don't know how to make it much more clearer.

I'd like to remind everyone how little we know about this game. We're making wild guesses from fighting games to MMOs, from Old Spyro to New Spyro, from Spyro being a rebooted, to Spyro being an adult and possibly having kids. WE DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS GAME.

And while guessing isn't a crime, let's not allow the debate about the future of Spyro consist of disproving theories that have yet to be busted.

I'm not calling anyone out, I'm just saying.
