the flight and "suspending" abilities given to characters that can earn it will probably grant the player to access special areas that you can't walk to.

I saw the sheep (pretty neat, by the way), but I didn't catch the gems. I saw a lot of ring-like things, though. What are they for?

Finally some footage of Spyro gameplay. I agree with the guy this game does not seem like it's about Spyro at all. The spotlight should be on him.

It bugs me that the camera seems to be hovering above the characters instead of being behind them.

So far, I've counted 17 characters total available for pre-order. Also, in the question of having to buy 'more of the same character' because of the 3 packs: actually, as of right now, no conflict keeps you from doing so. The only exception is the Legendary three pack which has a Spyro. The other two in this pack have their 'original' non-legendary version available for individual packs.

Still have no idea what the legendary label means. They are the same price as the other three packs.

Here are the 17 characters, and how you wouold buy them as of right now:

The game:
-Spyro (also legendary 3 pack)
-Gill Grunt
-Trigger Happy

3 pack:
-Voodoo
-Prism Break (also individual pack)
-Boomer

Individual packs:
-Eruptor
-Flameslinger
-Zap
-Stealth Elf
-Stump Smash
-Chop Chop (also legendary 3 pack)
-Drobot
-Bash (also legendary 3 pack)
-Sonic Boom

Special item packs:
-Ghost Roaster
-Terrafin

This is all subject to change of course, but it ruins the thought of 16 of the 32 being available at launch.

And according to Amazon.com, there are three 3 packs, and twelve single character packs. They just have no pictures and are unavailable.

And for the 17 charries, all of these and the game can be yours for only US $201.87! Before taxes anyway...
