Re: New Beginning

I'm for the new beginning and against it. It's good they started over because Insomniac has left the building(I hate you Universal) and after that the games weren't like they used to be, like movies they aren't what they used to be, and you know the other lot of reasons why.

The bad, after so many games introducing new charcters, new abilities and slowly discovering the plot of Spyro in general, is gone...just like that.(Gone as in when you put a vegie burger in front of me and comeback finding it's gone)

When I first heard of this game I thought you got to play as Spyro from a baby and you age as the story continues, to lead to Spyro 1.LOL

And I'm just curious, does anyone like the new Sparx.

Ah Everythings back to normal.

Re: New Beginning

Yeah, Spyro is the sarcastic one. I kind of like Sparx in this game though. He isn't just there, he acually does something.

Re: New Beginning

In my honest opinion, I think this reboot was actually a good idea. I mean, don't get me wrong. I loved the older Spyro games...It's just...they were using the same ideas over and over again, and the plots were techincally the same. and sorry to say, the graphics kinda sucked.

I love the newer games. I love the storyline. I love the music and levels. I love the voice actors. and I love the new characters.

and am I right in saying that some characters from the older Spyro games might appear in the 3rd part of the 'Legend' series? At least the new owners haven't forgotten about them. Lets all be thankful for THAT. XD

All in all. I love the newer games. and hope for more in the future.

The LoS series did NOT ruin the fandom. Nor would a Spyro movie ruin it. The fans are doing that themselves by their constant whining and complaining about small, idiotic things. It's the Sonic fandom all over again.

1. The New Beginning was sorta a good idea, but really you didn't need to make a whole new timeline to make a new plot (if Krome wanted to do that, make a new character)
2. not 1 nor 2 nor 3 had the same plots, neither did ETD...
I dont know much about the rest but the fact is, i can think of many more different plots for the original timeline, its just as you are saying... some companies couldn't.
3.Well the original's graphics were superior for its time, so SHAME ON YOU.
Ofcource they are inferior these days, but thats because they are NEARLY A DECADE OLD!!!
4.Well the story isn't bad, the music is good (but not as catchy as the originals), i cant agree with you on the levels, voice actors were nothing special (even though they were pros) and the new characters well ummm.... there not THAT special either
5.Well if the characters from the old timeline return, they will probably be different, and like spyro & sparx, they "wont be really the same characters"
6. Hey, The newer games are alright but i wont be waiting outside the stores to buy the next LOS...
I far liked the originals better

Now, i know this is all your opinion, and i'm not saying if your right or wrong, im just expressing my opinion about what you said.
And also, if people havn't relised, i am a debating person.

Re: New Beginning

*Points at the now dancing SpyroGirl101* HER-A-TIC HER-A-TIC HER-A-TIC *Bgins dancing inferatoly compared to SpyroGirl101*
And .... YOU!! *stops dancing and turns to Ratchet* You must ... *Pulls out Chainsaw gun from Gears of War* DIEEEEEEEEEEEE....*lunges at Rachet, chainsaw screaming* ....CE!!!!    [I said *DIECE, hah, and you thought I was going to kill him, hah hah hah... not today anyway  >: ) ]

I Agree more with Game_Girl_2007, but I hate the voice acting for Sparks, Billy West did good, but not good enough for how much they were paying him, and let's not even talk and David Spade!! As for the graphics argument, the cutsceans [ Real cutsceans, not those in game type ones] are beautyful, bet the in game could use a huge touch up.... like 130% touch up.

Charters are the ckeshays of the deckade, a father figure that's old as dirt, a snobbish lord
, an excentric intellagent person [look ,now their using me in their storys!] and a warrior that communactes in grunts, a hero thaats foolhardy and kind, a sarcastic sidekick and a dark mysterious girl.... Sounds so much like my day to day life

[to anyone who can figure out all the people I was talking blout I'll give them 500 gems and a sarcastic comment on their guestbook!]

Re: New Beginning

"the graphics kinda sucked" Is what she said, of cource the cutscene graphics were good in LOS and the ingame graphics were pretty good too but i was saying to her that the original's graphics weren't that bad.

Re: New Beginning

AHT has a similar graphics engine to CB: Wrath of Cortex. They both have very smooth graphics and they are both nearly 1gb in disc size (CB: 900mb, AHT: 1.1gb)

Re: New Beginning

Same here. I like any game that I find really good to play and I am interested in, regardless of graphic wise of the games.

Re: New Beginning

1.Must have a pretty crappy mind to run out of ideas, hey, i can blend most of TLOS into The original story, its too bad Krome couldn't
2. Ofcouce people want new "plots" (except for mario fans), but dont have to change mostly everything to make it new... well i think most people DID want it new, but to me, its just like playing a different franchise

Re: New Beginning

I would say they are starting to bring spyro back. Im glad they made these new ones, because if they made another spyro game like year of the dragon fly i beleave spyro would be lost forever....
